New Delhi: TV actor Piyush Sahdev who has received a lot of appreciation for his transformation into a hot hunk is winning hearts of fans with his portrayal of ‘Samay’ in Sony Entertainment Television show, ‘Beyhadh’.

Actor may be very happy and content in the professional life but all is not well in his personal life. Piyush got married to TV actress Akangsha Rawat in year 2012 and now his marital life has hit the rough patch.

As per our credible source, “Piyush who playing an important role ‘Beyhadh’, has moved on with a girl in Creative team of his show and staying at her house. He has left Akangsha. Although when we contacted Piyush, he denied the rumour and said, “This is not true. We are happily married.”

Well on the other hand, Piyush’s wife Akangsha is migrating to South Africa with her family which adds fuel to this rumour. In statement , she said, “I have some unexplained connection with that country. I have bonded with friends in Durban more than I am close to people in India. Friends there are like family now. I imagine I will eventually migrate to South Africa with my family.”

Avneet Kaur joins ‘Chandra Nandni’ opposite Siddharth Nigam

Mumbai: TV actress Avneet Kaur has been roped in to play the role of Charumati in popular Star Plus TV show “Chandra Nandni”.

Avneet will be seen as the wife of actor Siddharth Nigam, who plays Bindusara.

“When I auditioned for Charumati, I wasn’t sure if I will bag the role. But the makers were very impressed and I started shooting immediately. Siddharth is a great guy and we get along really well. I’m very happy to be back to doing what I love,” Avneet said in a statement.

“Chandra Nandni” is aired on Star Plus.

Avneet Kaur started her career in this industry as a kid. She participated in Zee TV’s show ‘Dance India Dance Lil Masters’. She was one of the Top three finalists.

She has also acted in Rani Mukherjee’s movie ‘Mardani’. On small screen, she has acted in TV shows like, ‘Savitri’, ‘Meri Maa’, ‘Ek Mutthi Aasmaan’ and ‘Hamari Sister Didi’.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Swami Om ARRESTED

NEW DELHI: Controversial self-styled godman Swami Om was on Wednesday arrested in a case filed by his brother who had accused the former Bigg Boss 10 contestant of stealing bicycles along with some documents from his shop nine years ago, police said.

This case also came in limelight when Swami Om was in Bigg Boss house. He had an emergency exit to appear in the court but was back in the show after that.
Vinodanand Jha, also known as Swami Om, was declared a proclaimed offender by the Saket Court in Delhi last year in the case, the police said.

In November 2008, an FIR was registered at Lodhi Colony police station against him on a complaint by his younger brother Pramod Jha.

Pramod had accused him of breaking the lock of his bicycle shop in Lodhi Colony along with three men and stealing 11 bicycles, expensive spare parts, sale deed of the house and important documents, a police officer said.

Last year, a non-bailable warrant was issued against him by the Saket court which subsequently declared him a proclaimed offender in the case, the officer said.

The godman was hiding in a house in northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura and was arrested by a joint team of Lodhi Colony police station and Inter-State Cell of Crime Branch, the officer added.

Jennifer Winget aka Maya is clearly the soul of the show but being a negative character, there will be an end to her. Untill now, there were reports that Arjun (Kushal Tandon), Samay (Piyush Sahdev) and Saanjh (Aneri Vajani) will kill Maya. But we have got an interesting revelation for the fans of the show.

As per report, not just Arjun but Jhanvi will also kill Maya. She will first slap Maya and will then go on to reveal how Saanjh treated her like a mother and took care of her when her own daughter Maya was hiding in Aashram. This will shook Maya to the core.

Not just this, it will also be revealed that Jhanvi will be fine by then and would get back her voice.

Online campaign to ban ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ gathers steam

Mumbai: More than 50,000 people have signed an online petition to demand a ban on the TV show “Pehredaar Piya Ki”, which revolves around the marriage of a wealthy 10- year-old boy to a woman twice his age.

The show, which went on air last month, has been criticised for its bizarre plot and for promoting child marriage.

The petition on change.org was started by an angry viewer, Mansi Jain, who has urged Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani to ban the show.

“Pehredar piya ki. – A 10-year-old impressionable little kid (‘piyaa’) caressing and stalking a lady who’s more than double his age and filling sindoor in her ‘maang’ is being telecast at prime time -8:30 pm on Sony,” Jain writes in the petition.

“(Family time) It is to be devoured by the entire nation.

Imagine the kind of influence it will steadily and perpetually infuse in the viewers’ mindset. We want a ban on the serial. We do not want our kids to be influenced by such TV serials. Join us in signing the petition to ban this serial.”

Jain’s petition has received more than 50,000 signatures and counting.

New Delhi: A girl aged 18 married to a nine-year-old boy having her ‘suhag raat’ and even enjoying a honeymoon may sound cringe-worthy and regressive to many, but TV actress Tejaswi Prakash does not see anything wrong with the storyline of her Hindi television show “Pehredaar Piya Ki”.Tejasswi  Prakash and Afaan Khan play the lead role in the show.

She says it’s “progressive” content. An online petition has been moved for a ban on the TV show, which has been described as “obnoxious and perverted” content that can “severely impact impressionable minds of children”.

“Pehredaar Piya Ki”, which means “guardian of the lover” raised a lot of eyebrows with its launch last month.

After Tejasswi, Producer of the show Shashi Mittal, has responded to the petition. While talking to Bollywoodlife.com, she said, “Sorry, I would not like to comment on this right now. We will definitely put our point across but in a while.”

Well, Sony Entertainment Television’s show ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ is now in serious trouble now.

I&B Minister Smriti Irani has now decided to take action against the show. According to news in Spotboye, “She has written to the BCCC (Broadcasting Content Complaints Council- the self-regulatory mechanism for GEC content) to take up the matter.Sources close to the government say that a letter to this effect has been been dispatched, asking for immediate action on priority basis.The BCCC will now have to take cognisance, respond and take action.

New Delhi: Stars of TV actor Siddharth Shukla are not in his favor. Currently seen in Colors TV show ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’, Siddharth is once again in news and let us tell you that it is for a very wrong reason.

As per reports, Siddharth Shukla hurled abuses at TV actor Kunal Verma while shooting the scene. According to India Forums, “Kunal, who was seemingly irked with Siddharth’s brash behaviour on the set of the show, went and asked him to speak to everyone on set politely. But this advice of his rubbed Siddharth the wrong way, after which things ceased to be cordial between the duo.”

When portal contacted Kunal Verma, he said, “Yes, that’s true. After that incident, Siddharth used to constantly talk nonsense to me but I chose to ignore him. But the situation only worsened further as while I was shooting for a scene yesterday, Siddharth, who was standing behind me, started abusing me and calling me names that I am ashamed to even talk about! I kept quiet and maintained my decorum. But when things went out of the proportion, I told the production people to wind up my shoot as fast as possible or use my dupe for the scene as I just couldn’t stand him anymore! I didn’t even want to see his face!”

Later on issue reached to Producer and Project head Sheetal, who confronted actor for his rash and bad behavior. Kunal Further said, “Yes, the project head had to come to the sets and intervene. She assured me that all the actors are same for them, be it Siddharth or anyone else. She then confronted Siddharth for his rash behaviour.”

Well, this is not the first time we are hearing about it. Earlier also there were reports that Siddharth behaved badly on the set and had been thrown out but the matter was sorted afterwards.

Mumbai: “Peshwa Bajirao” fame actor Vishal Jethwa will next be seen essaying the role of Lord Krishna in mythological show “Chakradhari Ajaya Krishna”.

Vishal will replace actor Bhavesh Balchandani in the show as Lord Krishna. Vishal is known for his role as ‘Akbar’ in historical show Bharat ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap. Also he has acted in shows like ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hai’, ‘Hitler Didi’ and ‘Parvarish’

Erica Fernandez and Shaheer Sheikh starrer show is all set to say goodbye to its viewers. As per various news reports, show will end on 25th August, broadcasting the last episode.Amitabh Bachchan’s game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ will replace the show and will go on-air from 28thAugust at 9pm.

Mumbai: Marriage brings in a lot of change in a person’s life. Many times we have seen that TV stars get more lucky after getting the right partner.

TV actor Shashank Sethi, who got married to Nidhi Kaur in February, says his marriage has got him proper diet.

“My marriage has got me proper diet. I have been enjoying my life now. I am lucky to have a wife who cares for me,” Shashank said in a statement.

“Mostly she is serious about my diet. She also enjoys to be fit like me. She is really caring. But, marriage has brought no changes in my life,” he added.

The actor got married on February 17, 2017, and had a proper traditional Indian wedding. wedding took place in groom’s hometown which is Madhya Pradesh.  Nidhi is an HR professional and hails from Chandigarh.

CONGRATULATIONS! ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actress Ekta Tiwari gets MARRIED

New Delhi: This year, Kavita Kaushik, Ishqbaaz actress Navina Bole, Shireena Sambyal, Kayamath actress Panchi Bora and Priya Bathija got hitched. Another actress to join this bandwagon is Star Plus actress Ekta Tiwari.

Ekta got married to her longtime boyfriend Sushant Kandya but it was not a planned marriage. Actress has a hush-hush marriage. Actually, Ekta surprised her boyfriend Sushant on her birthday by tying knot with him.

While talking to TOI, she said, “It was a low-key affair and we got married at an Arya Samaj Mandir. I wanted our wedding anniversary to coincide with my birthday. In fact, Sushant wasn’t even aware of the shaadi plan till I broke the news to him at midnight while cutting my birthday cake. We haven’t had a long courtship, but we started staying together soon after we realised that we were made for each other.”

Ekta and Sushant met during the shoot of Sony TV’s ‘Crime Patrol’ and soon fell in love. Talking about it, she said, “We worked in eight episodes together. The connection happened in the first scene itself. It’s not about how long your courtship is, but how well you gel,”

Not just marriage, but actress also had a very different kind of honeymoon. I planned it as a surprise family outing, as Sushant was planning a trip to Goa for both of us on my birthday. I lied him that I have invited a few friends as well. I don’t think anyone has had such a honeymoon yet,”

Ekta has also played lead actress in ‘Tere Mere Sapne’. She was last seen in ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ serial.

New Delhi: Star Plus show ‘Meri Durga’ saw a huge leap in the story and many new faces were introduced in the show. TV actress Parineeta Borthakur, who was last seen Colors TV show ‘Swaragini’ was roped in to play grey character in ‘Meri Durga’.

But now we have heard that actress is quitting the show. Makers decided to get Dolly Sohi to play the role of ‘Gayatri Devi’.

When we contacted Parineeta asking about the replacement, she said, “I had to rush to my family due to some emergency and I won’t be able to shoot for the next one week. I understand that they have to telecast so we mutually agreed on the replacement.”

Well, we hope everything is fine in Parineeta’s family.

On the other hand talking to us, Dolly Sohi said, “I am excited to be part of ‘Meri Durga’ and it’s a bit Grey shade which I think I am playing after long time. I accepted the role as it was challenging. Just hope to get some new experiences. Also feel blessed to get back to back shows.”

While her show is getting the highest TRP ratings, her personal life is going off track especially after hearing rumours about her engagement call off. The actress told TOI, “Though I am not in touch with him, I haven’t called off the engagement. I don’t intend to be impulsive and take a hasty decision. I will wait to see if things work out between us. Our equation is not too smooth at the moment and even my parents want me to marry someone who will be a positive influence on my journey. I am not thinking about marriage currently.”
