New Delhi: Sony Entertainment Television’s popular show ‘Beyhadh’ is a finite show and will end soon. But what will be the end of the show that is still suspense. Will Arjun kill Maya in the show? Or Will Maya kill herself after killing Saanjh and Samay?

Well, amidst all these speculations, we have got the news about the show that will replace ‘Beyhadh’. Bollywood actor Zayed Khan is soon going to make debut on TV with a romantic thriller. As per news in TOI, “Zayed’s show, which will also feature Ek Hasina Thi actor Vatsal Seth and Ek Duje Ke Vaaste actress Nikita Dutta, is reportedly going to replace Jennifer Winget and Kushal Tandon starrer Beyhadh, which is almost on the verge of ending.”

The name of the show will be ‘Haasil’. Producer Sidharth Malhotra while sharing picture with the cast of the show wrote, “”Alchemyfilmspvtltd proudly presents our next coming soon on @SonyTV “HAASSIL” @ItsZayedKhan @shethvatsal @nikifyinglife #workshopbegins.”

Sumona Chakravarti to make a COMEBACK in serials with COLORS TV show

New Delhi: TV actress Sumona Chakravarti says she loved doing theatre but decided to make a switch to television as it was not “paying enough”.

The 29-year-old actor says television has made her career and has given her the chances to explore films as well.

In an interview with PTI Sumona says, “I love the craft of acting and I do theatre, television and films only because I love acting. But I realised theatre was not paying enough so I looked at television and after several years of hardships I got my due because of television and eventually films happened.”

Sumona’s big TV break came with Sony Entertainment Television show, “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain” in which she played a negative character.

“When I played a grey shade in “Bade Aache Lagte Hai” I was only getting offers for negative parts for the next six months. With ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ everybody wants to offer me comedy parts only. So, it does happen for a bit but then I am choosy about work and I do wait for a good offer to come my way,” she says.

Sumona says she makes sure every show that she does is different. Her next project is “Dev”, a finite thriller series.

“With the concept of finite series you know there is a start and end to the show. It is not a regular show. It is fictionalized mystery thriller, there is drama and romance as well.”
In the show, Sumona plays the part of Meera Banerjee, a single mother. The show also features Ashish Chowdhry in the lead role.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is busy these days in promoting his upcoming film, ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. After promoting the movie on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Udaan, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs, actor moved to the popular comedy show, ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’.

We all are well aware that SRK is a man of honour but something happened on the sets of ‘Taarak Mehta’ which will make you a fan of him again.

TV actress Dayaben aka Disha Vakani, who is expecting her first child, was very much excited to meet Shahrukh Khan.

As per source of Tellychakkar.com, “When SRK visited the sets and got to know about Disha’s pregnancy, he went all out to take care of her so that Disha felt comfortable shooting. Like a man of honour, SRK made sure Disha got a place to sit, the moment she finished her enactment in front of the camera. This kind act of the superstar floored Disha and she was totally overwhelmed by his gesture. Not only Disha but also the entire team of Taarak was on cloud nine shooting with Mr Khan.”

The source of the leading daily revealed, “The makers did not want to replace Disha as she is an integral part of the show. So instead of doing any such thing, they have decided to give Disha an extended leave. They are utilizing her availability by taking close-up shots for the episodes.”

New Delhi: Comedy Show on every channel has become quite a trend these days. Latest one to follow this trend is &TV, which is coming up with its new show ‘Comedy Dangal’. Before the launch of the show, it is in headlines for the replacement of TV actresses taking part in the show.

There were speculations that Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Karishma Tanna has been replaced from the show, due to her tantrums. But while talking to India Forums, Karishma refuted the rumours and said, “Yes, the news about me being replaced is absolutely true however the reason is not! My dates did not match. The production house is like a family so me being replaced because of the reason mentioned is out of question. We tried working on the dates but since it was clashing, we mutually decided for a replacement. I look forward to doing a big show with them soon.”

Now as per the latest development, Karishma has been replaced by ‘Qubool Hai’ actress Surbhi Jyoti.

A source of TOI revealed, “One day before the promo shoot Karishma Tanna was been replaced by Surbhi Jyoti since Karishma was giving tough time to the production house on her promo look. She kept making changes in her look, production house tried to accommodate her demands but she didn’t finalise it even one night before the shoot.”

New Delhi: Star Plus’ hit show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has a bad news for all their ardent fans. Prominent character ‘Gayu’ aka Kanchi Singh is going to say goodbye to the show.

Last year, lead actress Hina Khan aka Akshara left the show to look for better opportunities. Soon after Hina, Rohan Mehra, who played the role of Naksh left the show to take part in reality show Bigg Boss 10. And Now it is Kanchi Singh who is going to quit the show.
According to a report in TOI, “The actress, who joined the show last year to play Gayatri (grown-up Naira’s sister), is currently serving a notice period of three months.”

The source of the leading daily revealed, “Kanchi wasn’t happy with the way her track was shaping up. Her character was sidelined and after much contemplation, she decided to call it quits. She will shoot her last episode around the end of September.”

Confirming the news, Kanchi said, “Yes, I have quit the show. I didn’t see any future for my character. I totally understand that shifting focus from a popular couple — Kartik and Naira — to any other character could be detrimental to the show, but my character was completely sidelined in the bargain. I wish the ‘Yeh Rishta…’ team all the best. I’ll always be indebted to producer Rajan Shahi, who launched me in the industry. I would like to play meaningful characters now and have decided to take up only lead roles.”

Kanchi rose to fame with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Actress was also in news when she fell in love with her co-actor Rohan Mehra on the show.

New Delhi: Popular TV actress Rajshree Thakur who rose to fame by playing lead role of dark-skinned girl in Zee TV’s hit show ‘Saath Phere – Saloni Ka Safar’ is on cloud nine these days. Actress has given birth to a cute little baby girl. She was blessed with a little munchkin on 2nd August.

According to news in a leading daily, “Rajshree is now gearing up on being a mother in real life after she delivered a baby girl on August 2. Not many knew about Rajshri’s pregnancy and that is how she and her husband Sanjyot Vaidya wanted it to be.”

New Delhi: Popular TV actress Shilpa Shinde who has been quite in news lately, has been approached for the Colors TV reality show Bigg Boss 11.

Shilpa Shinde was last seen in &TV’s famous show ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ where she played the role of ‘Angoori Bhabhi’. But after quitting the show, Shilpa filed sexual harassment case against her producer, Benaifer Kohli’s husband, Sanjay Kohli and the entire Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai fiasco. Not just that, she was also ousted from CINTAA later on.

As per news in Bombay Times, “The actress of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai fame has been approached for Salman Khan’s reality show.”

Bigg Boss 11 will have commoners and celebs but this time makers are not taking any chance with commoners. As per news in an entertainment portal, there will be new rules for the commoners.  There are also reports that this time commoners will not be paid.

Kaun Banega Crorepati needs great attention: Big B

Mumbai: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is bringing back the reality TV game show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” (KBC), says its enactment needs great attention.

With the recordings of the show starting in “not too distant future”, Amitabh gave a glimpse of the workings of the show via his blog on Saturday.

“Getting down to the basics of what the show shall entail is down on the list of the producers and we go over them again and again to get it right and correct. The sensitivity of the game and its conduct is vital and so, its enactment needs great attention.

“Production and Sony where it shall be telecast, inform me that the registration numbers were close to a number not seen before. It showed that interest in the game was still perhaps alive. Some of the economic papers that write about it, give statistics of the past and the present and give comparative percentage increases… that is heartening,” he wrote.

“It’s been 17 years with a few gaps in between since its inception and start and it almost seems like it all began just yesterday… what a journey it has been,” he added.

According to reports, the upcoming season has received a record number of 19.8 million registrations.

The show was first aired in 2000, changing the face of Indian television and giving Amitabh a new lease of life in showbiz.

On the film front, Amitabh will next be seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya’s directorial “Thugs of Hindostan” which will also star Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Shashank Arora in lead roles.

New Delhi: Star Plus’ popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ gave a shock to all of its ardent fans when Kanchi Singh decided to quit the show. Many of the characters in the show are being missed and one of them is ‘Varsha’, Akshara’s best friend.

TV actress Pooja Joshi, who played the role ‘Varsha’ in the serial, is pregnant. Actress is in her 6th trimester and it is her first child with husband Manish Arora.

Mumbai: Ace comedian and actor Kapil Sharma’s popular comedy show “The Kapil Sharma Show” has been renewed by channel Sony Entertainment Television, it was announced on Monday.

There was talk that the show was not garnering ample ratings, especially after actors Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar walked out following a spat.

Happy with the renewal of his contract, Kapil said in a statement: “I am deeply touched with the warmth and love the audience has showered on us over the years. It’s their belief and undying devotion that encourages us to continue to reinvent ourselves and bring smiles to every household week on week.”

New Delhi: Sony Entertainment Television is gearing up to introduce some new shows on the channel along with popular game show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. There have various reports that Jennifer Winget’s show ‘Beyhadh’ will be replaced by KBC, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.

Now we have come to know that not just ‘Beyhadh’, another popular show is also going off air. The latest reports say that channel is going to wrap up historical show ‘Peshwa Bajirao’.

As per report in India Forums, “Sony TV’s much loved show, Peshwa Bajirao will be seen going off air on the 25th of this month as well. Though the show recently took a leap, the dip in the numbers has resulted in such a decision by the makers. The shoot will wrap up at the soonest, and the off air date remains 25th of August.”

Well, show started in January and going off-air in just 7 months. Recently show got interesting after it took leap. Karan Suchak plays the role of Peshwa Bajirao, Ishita Ganguly portrays his wife Kashibai and Megha Chakraborty plays the iconic character Mastani in the show.

If the news reports are to be believed, the festival of Rakshabandhan will bring in some bad news for Oberoi family. Although Anika’s brother Sahil (Aryan Prajapati) will make a comeback in the show but Shivaay will be missing from the track.

According to the source of a leading entertainment portal, “In the upcoming episodes, the Oberoi family will be shocked to learn that Shivaay’s (Nakuul Mehta) car had a blast while he was travelling. But everyone will be unable to trace the accident spot.”

 

 

The source further revealed, “Sahil will arrive at the Oberoi Mansion to celebrate Rakshabandhan with Anika. He would be looking out for Shivaay but the family will have to keep Shivaay’s truth under wraps from the little one. Anika would be seen worried to know about the well-being of Shivaay.”

Mumbai: TV actress Parineeta Borthakur didn’t want to play a mother again on a show, but agreed to do “Meri Durga” in Star Plus show, after seeing the strength of her character.

The actress, best known for playing a mother on the show “Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur”, will now turn negative on the small screen.

“I am playing an aristocratic character. She has been brought up like a queen. The character’s name is tentatively called Gayatri Devi. I am playing this character because it is very strong and the main negative role on the show,” Parineeta said in a statement.

“Initially, I didn’t want to do it. I spoke to them three to four times because I was reluctant to play a mother to grown-up actors, but the role is interesting; so I went ahead,” she added.

Her character is the mother of Sanjay Prince, portrayed by Paras Kalnawat, on “Meri Durga”.

Mumbai: Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who lifted actress Bhumi Pednekar on his back in the 2015 film “Dum Laga Ke Haisha”, reminisced the popular scene when he was asked to lift comedienne Bharti Singh in upcoming TV show “Comedy Dangal”.

Ayushmann, along with actors Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao, appeared on the show to promote their forthcoming film “Bareilly Ki Barfi”.

Music composer Anu Malik, who is seen as a judge on the show along with Bharti, asked Ayushmann to recreate a scene from the movie with Bharti and carry her on his back just like he carried Bhumi.

“Ayushmann, Kriti and Rajkummar were on our set and we had a blast shooting the episode with them. Anu Malik thought he could challenge me and get away with it… but Ayushmann being a sport recreated the scene from ‘Dum Lagake Haisha’, carried me on his back and roamed around the set with ease,” Bharti said in a statement.

“Now I had to give him a return gift… so I also carried him in my arms and we danced around as Anuji watched us with his jaw dropping,” she added.

“Comedy Dangal” will be aired on &TV starting from Saturday and has TV celebs like Anita Hassanandani, Surbhi Jyoti, Laveena Tandon,Puja Banerjee and Shikha Singh.

New Delhi: Star Plus show ‘Yeh Rihsta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has been giving us some serious wedding goals with their lavish but still cultured weddings. After Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, another popular Bollywood actor came to the show to promote their upcoming film.

As we all know that Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar are busy in promotion of his upcoming film ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’, and his next stop was hit show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Well something happened that made the entire cast and crew of the show tired.

As per news in a leading daily, “When Akshay entered, he asked each and everyone to rehearse the entire sequence for three times. Even though the cast happily did so, they were perplexed as to why were they made to rehearse so much? The logic behind it was that Akshay wanted them to deliver the scene with perfection so that what would take two hours to shoot would be wrapped in 45 minutes (in one take).”

According to news in an entertainment portal, “The sequence will revolve around the wedding gala of Naksh (Rishi Dev) and Kirti (Mohena Singh) where the relatives will be travelling for the wedding rituals and will stop on the highway as the females will want to use the restroom. The locals there will ask them to visit the plantation area for the washroom. This is when Akshay and Bhumi will arrive on a bike and will guide them, thus presenting the theme of the show.”

Mumbai: TV and Bhojpuri actress Monalisa says Bhojpuri films are not yet getting their due because it has failed to reach the maximum audience via single screen theatres.

She feels it is because only a “particular” section of people of “lower standards” go and watch the films due to lack of multiplexes.

Asked why it is that Bhojpuri films, though popular, are looked down upon, Mona Lisa told IANS here: “Maybe because budget wise it is still low. We are not getting multiplex audience because it’s releasing only in single theatres. Just particular people are going. The audience there is of lower standards.

Mona Lisa, whose real name is Antara Biswas, started her Bhojpuri film career in 2008 with “Bhole Shankar”.

Mona Lisa was seen in the Colors TV’s controversial reality TV show “Bigg Boss 10”. She says the show has given her more popularity.

“I’m from Koklata, so when I started my career in Mumbai, I started it with some small budget Hindi films. I started Bhojpuri after that. Being an artiste… every artiste wants to work — in Bollywood or regional language or anywhere. We just want to work,” she said.

But when Sukhwinder Singh was contacted, he denied the rumours. Talking to Bollywoodlife.com, singer said, “This is the first time, I am hearing about this. I am very busy with my songs and shows, where do I have the time to do a show like Bigg Boss 11, which needs you to be locked up for months. Moreover, I am a private person and it does not match my sensibilities. This is absolute rubbish.”

Well, the other names that we may see in show are Vikrant Singh Rajpoot, Shilpa Shinde, Achint Kaur, Abhishek Malik, Ayaz Ahmed and Mohit Malhotra.

Salman Khan and Mouni Roy were recently spotted shooting the promo of Bigg Boss 11.
