New Delhi : Amid all the wedding celebrations of Yash and Rose’s wedding,Love is certainly in the air for someone else also. Naira and Karthik are the new adorable lovebirds in Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. In the upcoming episode, love story will see few cute moments wherein the viewers will see and feel their bond getting closer. Although, there will be a scene in the story line wherein Karthik will be angry when Naira will slap him!! But the question is why will Naira slap Karthik?

Actually, in the upcoming episode audience will see Yash’s baraat arrive. And as everyone will be involved in dancing freestyle, Naira will accidentally give one tight slap on Karthik’s cheeks, while spinning. After getting hit hard on his face, Karthik will get upset and will walk out of the crowd and stand quietly at a distance. Looking at the upset face of karthik Naira will rush out to Karthik in order to apologize. But you know what? Karthik will burst out laughing on hearing Naira apologise.Karthik would have pretended to be angry, just to hear the ‘I am sorry’ from Naira..

The actress, who is enjoying her new life in the US post marriage to an NRI, has got herself a new tattoo.

Aneri Vajani to be back on small screen as lawyer

Mumbai: “Nisha Aur Uske Cousins” fame actress Aneri Vajani will be seen playing a lawyer in TV show “Beyhadh”. She says she is glad to be a part of an interesting show.

According to a source close to the show’s makers, Aneri will be seen as a bubbly and vivacious girl.

“I am glad to bag a meaty and interesting role in the show ‘Beyhadh’,” Aneri said in a statement.

She was finalised for the part eight months after she gave her auditions.

The Sony Entertainment Television show brings a romantic thriller showcasing different shades of love – one driven by obsession and the other by selflessness and purity. It also stars Jennifer Winget and Kushal Tandon.

The show is expected to go on air in the next couple of weeks.

New Delhi: The much awaited moment has finally arrived on Sony TV’s ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’.  Makers of the romantic daily soap have given a treat to all Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi’s (Erica Fernandes) fans.

If reports are to be believed, Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) will accept Dev and Sonakshi’s relationship in the forthcoming episodes of the show.

Leading entertainment portal Tellychakkar quoted a source saying,  “Ishwari (Supriya Pilgaonkar) will get hints about Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi’s (Erica Fernandes) relationship. She will be irked and start ignoring them. Ishwari will also decide to go against Sonakshi’s diet schedule.”

But wait, we all know that a daily soap is incomplete without any twist. Ishwari will not like Sonakshi but for Dev’s happiness, she will accept her.

Mouli Ganguly excited about glamourous entry in ‘Jamai Raja’

Mumbai: Actress Mouli Ganguly, who is excited about playing a negative character in TV show “Jamai Raja”, says “it is challenging to leave an impact on the audience’s mind by playing notorious characters”.

Mouli, who featured in shows like “Kahin Kissi Roz” and “Suryaputra Karn”, will be seen in a glamourous avatar in the Zee TV show.

She will essay the role of Payal, a shrewd, cunning and dominating woman. The show will see an interesting twist with her entry as her presence will add a lot of spice to the dynamics between lead characters Siddharth (played by Ravi Dubey), Roshni (played by Nia Sharma) and Neel (played by Indraneil Sengupta).

“It requires a lot of homework to play a character with grey shades convincingly. It is far more challenging to leave an impact on the audience’s mind playing notorious characters as it truly tests the potential of the artiste,” Mouli said in a statement.

“As an actor, I don’t want to limit myself with monotonous characters as I love to challenge myself in terms of characters and experimenting with looks,” she added.

Payal is a woman whose love for all the materialistic things in life and her self-obsession consumes her. She is very insecure as a person for which she overcompensates by power dressing and is obsessed with her appearance. To play this complex character, Mouli will be seen upping her style quotient.

She said: “I wanted to do something truly different in the fiction space as an actor and when I was approached for the role of Payal, I agreed to it instantly as I loved my multi-layered character.

“Payal is ultra-glamourous, wicked to the core and conscious about her looks and beauty to an extreme level. The role gives me an opportunity to display a gamut of emotions as she will be up to some scheme or plot every now and then and keep everyone on their toes.”

Diya Aur Baati Hum to return with Season 2 without Anas and Deepika

New Delhi: Here comes a treat for all ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ fans who were disappointed with the news of its end in September.  According to the reports, the show might return with its second season.

Entertainment portal Tellychakkar quoted a source saying, “The show has been a successful venture for the channel as well as the production house. The idea now is to keep their brand – Diya Aur Baati Hum sailing high. Accordingly, they have been in talks for a Season 2 of the show.”

It has also been reported that the production team has been in touch with the channel for season 2 of the show. However, if everything goes according to the plan then lead pair Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh will not be part of it.

The new season of ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ have few characters from the ongoing series, says report of Tellychakkar.

New Delhi: Get ready to witness new entry  ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. Popular TV actress Kamalika Guha Thakurta who is currently seen in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ is all set to enter the Star Plus show.

If reports are to be believed, the actress will  portray the character acclaimed Kathak dancer.

Leading entertainment portal Tellychakkar quoted a source, “The channel and makers wanted to rope in an actress who is a good dancer for real. They were in talks with Sudha Chandran and Kamalika. Kamalika who is a prolific Kathak dancer has been roped in now for the crucial role.”

However when the portal buzzed Kamalika about the same she said,“Well, they have talked to me about it. But there is no confirmation as yet.”

Kamalika rose to fame with the role of Gayatri in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’.

Mumbai: Jay Bhanushali, who has showcased his talent across different fields like acting, hosting and dance, says he can never think of foraying into the singing arena as he has a “phobia” of singing.

“I can never sing. You can ask me to act, host a show or even dance, but I can’t sing. I have a phobia of singing. I don’t think I can ever sing in my life,” Jay, who will next be seen as the host of “The Voice India Kids”, said at the children singing reality show’s launch here on Tuesday.

Jay, best known for his roles in films like “Hate Story 2” and “Ek Paheli Leela”, will be joined by singer-comedienne Sugandha Mishra as the host of the show, which will feature popular singers Shekhar Ravjiani, Shaan and Neeti Mohan as coaches.

Asked about his hosting partner Sugandha, Jay said: “She has a lot of talent in her. It feels great to share a stage with her. Apart from singing, Sugandha is a great comedian and can mimic many actors.”

“The Voice India Kids”, which is an Indian version of the internationally acclaimed reality format “The Voice”, will be aired on &TV starting from July 23.

New Delhi: Here comes a bad news for Kawach fans. The show which replaced ‘Naagin’ has failed drastically on the TRP charts.

According to the latest reports of ‘Saas Bahu aur Saazish’, Vivek Dahiya and Mona Singh’s starrer ‘Kawach’ is all set to be replaced by none other than ‘Naagin’ season 2.

Yes, that is right.

The supernatural show starring Mouni Roy and Arjun Bijlani is all set to hit the small screens one month ahead of its scheduled dates. Earlier it was reported that show will be launch in October but low TRPs of ‘Kawach’ has forced channel to comeback with ‘Naagin’

Couple of days before Mouni Roy expressed her excitement saying, “Naagin 2 is coming in September. I am very excited and nervous about it. I might or might not do anything in between (referring to other TV shows).”

‘Thapki Pyar Ki’ member gets electrocuted while shooting!

New Delhi: A major mishap took place on the sets of Colors’ ‘Thapki Pyar Ki’. According to the reports of Saas Bahu air Saazish, one of the technicians got electrocuted during shoot.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, the technician is out of danger and doing fine now.

Before shows like ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, Comedy Nights with Kapil have also suffered huge loss due accident on the sets.

 

‘Thapki Pyar Ki’ stars Jigyasa Singh and Ankit Bathla in lead role. The show airs on ‘Colors’.

Zee TV’s Jamai Raja to take 20 years leap, Nia Sharma to QUIT the show!

New Delhi: This news might disappoint Nia Sharma and ‘Jamai Raja’ fans. Well,  the Zee TV show is all set to witness major change in the upcoming days.

If reports are to be believed, the show will soon take a huge 20 years leap, post which the lead actress Nia Sharma will bid adieu to the daily soap.

Tellychakkar quoted a source saying, “The new generation will see Ravi getting back as Sid-Roshni’s (Ravi-Nia) son. Nia who is not keep to play a mom on screen has decided to throw in the towel and called it quits with the show.”

New Delhi : Get ready to cry a lot in the upcoming episodes of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein as the there will be some really emotional scenes coming up for the audience.

As, Ishita and Raman have got the custody of Ruhi, now judge tells Ruhi not to suppress her love for her original parents. She leaves. Adi goes behind her and tells Ishita that he’ll convince her. Judge tells them that Ruhi is emotionally disoriented and needs time. They have to be patient with her. Mrs Bhalla tells Ishita that she has won. Shagun also smiles hearing this.

Ishita goes to Ruhi and cries. She says that they’ll renovate a room for Ruhi for all her clothes, trophies and stuff. She says they will have a music room for her to practice. Ishita instructs Neelu to make chocolate milkshake for Ruhi.

Later, Shagun and Ishita have a word where the former tells Ishita that now she has everything in life. She feels guilty for having spoilt Shagun’s life and promises to make things better.

The actress was a part of Comedy Nights with Kapil, but when the show went off air, she stayed with Colors because they were paying her more.

New Delhi: Actors Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta have been in news for signing a contract with a no-dating clause for their show “Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar”, but off screen, they share “good bonding”.

The actors, who are made to hate each other on screen are seen spending maximum time together in between shots and during lunch breaks. Recently, when Ishita was about to meet with an accident on set with her sari getting stuck in a fan, it was Vatsal who acted like a hero and saved her.

When asked Vatsal about his friendship with Ishita, he said: “Off screen we share a good bonding and have few things in common. Both of us are pretty chilled out. I love cakes and pastries and so does she.”

“Every other day she gets me one. I am just an excuse so that she can get one for herself everyday.”

When asked about this, Ishita said: “It’s fun shooting with him. He improvises a lot, so that is something that I am learning from him. He is a very good co-actor and a really good friend.”

New Delhi: “Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai” has a new entrant — a bull dog.

The makers are bringing in the dog into the narrative to break the monotony in the entertaining &TV drama.

Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh) will be seen buying Jankidaas (the dog) and the specialty of it is that whosoever shows him a picture of a person and says that the person uttered bad things about “your mom”, the dog makes that person’s life hell.

Talking about the new entry, Aasif said in a statement: “I love cats a lot and have a pet cat at home too. I am not so fond of dogs though.”
