New Delhi: Popular TV actress Sonal Vengurlekar aka Survi recently met with an accident while shooting a scene for Zee TV’s Yeh Vaada Raha.
Reportedly, the actress had to perform an act, where she was supposed to get drown and cry for help. The actress doesn’t know how to swim but being a professional she decided to enact the scene.
Unfortunately, Sonal in reality started sinking and started to cry for help. But the crew members thought the actress was in her character and didn’t come for help.
The team realised the truth later and a member from the camera team rescued her.
Confirming the incident to a leading daily the actress said, “We were shooting near Ghodbunder, where it all happened. Since, it was quite similar to my scene; my crew didn’t even realize that I actually needed help. It was really a scary affair for me and even after they rescued me, I was shivering with fear. Post the incident I continued to shoot for the same sequence for next three hours as we needed to complete the sequence”.
