New Delhi: Kannada TV actress Shruthi committed suicide by hanging herself at a friend’s house at around 3 AM on Tuesday.
According to the media reports , The actress had gone to meet her friend Shrikanth on Monday night. The duo went for a party after which Shruthi reportedly had an ugly spat with her friend. Upset over the issue, she locked herself up in a room and hung herself from the ceiling.
After sometime when Shrikanth knocked at the door there was no response. Then he along with some of his friends broke open the door and found Shruthi’s body.
The actress was married to a businessman named Umesh and stayed with him in Harohalli on Kanakapura Road.
Apparently, Shruthi’s husband filed a case against Shrikanth on charges of abetting suicide. Police have arrested Shrikanth and further investigations are underway, says report.
