TV actress Arshima Thapar best remembered fo portraying the role of ‘Kaddy’ in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hai’ was recently assaulted by three production executives on the set of her TV show.
Leading daily Times of India quoted a source saying that the actress was not keeping well, yet she was asked to come early for the shoot on the next day.
“When Arshima refused to come, the production executives-Atul Chavan (Production Assistant), Ranbir Singh Chauhan (Production Head) and Akarsh Sharma (Supervising Producer) had an argument with her. She left the set and when she returned after sometime to sort out things, Atul held her by the arm and assaulted her. Arshima, who is epileptic, started shivering and was too shocked to react at what happened,” says the source to TOI.
However, the actress and her father have filed a non-cognizable complaint at the Malwani police station.
